Nationwide affiliated to?

Does anyone know who is affiliated to Nationwide. It's not on the stoozing web site.

Friend has debts, but need to open a cash ISA (long story), but don't want creditors to be ale to withdraw the money put in the ISA as it has to go somewhere else.

Any ideas?

    The only link I am aware of is to RBS via Nationwide credit card. However, I don't know how strong the link is and whether it is essential in your case.

    Nationwide are an independant building society.

    As grumbler said, the only "affiliation" is that their credit card is serviced at RBS (old Access House) but it is not run by RBS so you can do a balance transfer from RBS to Nationwide or vice versa.
