Mothercare baby plan

Does anyone have any information on the Mothercare Baby Plan. We were at Mothercare yesterday and have decided we will get the main bulk of out items there i.e pram, cot, crib, nursing chair. The saleswoman advised us only certain items were included in the plan but she didn't have any info sheets left to tell us which items.

Thanks

We were going to do this but if you shop around abit you will probably find your items cheaper elsewhere. We ended up saving quite a bit by shopping around as Mothercare arent the cheapest.

Heres the link for the baby plan. http://www.mothercarebabyplan.co.uk/

Part of the Furniture Photogenic Combo Breaker
I looked at that, and the stuff that was on there wasn't the stuff i wanted. But it did have some good stuff :)

The money off vouchers are the ones that are like £1 off when you spend £10 etc. thats what i was told anyway :)

You should check out Kiddiecare.com You will find a everything you need at much lower prices. For example, my baby's highchair should have been £120 and was on "special offer" at £90 at Mothercare (but they didn't have it in stock), and the same one was £70 online at Kiddiecare with free delivery. They are brilliant, orders arrive next day and they stock all the major brands.

Put a bit aside in a seperate bank account and shop around a bit first. I found mothercare to be limited and expensive.

I got my pram at the glasgow baby show through this company www.pramcentreonline.co.uk

They have a payment spreading option and we got our pram from them as it was on a very discount plus an extra 10% off for getting it at the baby show.

We werent going to put anything on a plan but we didnt have the money to buy it there and then and this secured us the cheapest price. And all we paid was £20 deposit but i think its different if you go through the site. Yes its 20% deposit.

I have used kidicare and they are great - there prices are good and delivery is fantastic.

Another vote for kiddicare, I tended to go round the shops to do the 'touchy feely' bit and then order online for a reduced price! If you do that you will prob save much more than the vouchers you would get for mothercare plan. TBH I'm a bit anti- mothercare anyway as I think they inflate prices for it all being under one roof iyswim. Congratulations on little one, and have fun buying everything you need!
  • I found Babies r us were great when we had DD. Much cheaper than Mothercare and still good quality items.
