Ronseal Diamond Finish Floor Varnish under £30

For anyone that is interested/needs. We needed to buy some for redoing our floorboards and as usual all I could find it for was £45 a tub. A quick trawl through the net and I discovered transtools.co.uk sell it for £29 a tub. Good saving....hope this helps someone ....:D

Afraid not people... the "colours" where 29.85, the good stuff was a min of 32.99 and it was only a 2.5Lt... of course, unless u spend £45 there are delivery charges.

So if you are looking Floor varnish, don't use Ronseal. Use either their Trade end (which is called Translac) or use something like Johnstone's Trade Floor varnish... exactly the same as the retail ronseal diamond but you get 5Lt for the price of ronseal's 2.5Lt

what a minefield!!! just sanded our pine-board conservatory floor and need to revarnish, its taken hubby 3 days so far with a belt sander, so really hard work, i dont want to spoil all his hard work buying rubbish varnish. where can i get trade floor varnish we live in south wales - can get the ronseal in local b & q, but after reading reviews well - hope somebody answers soon :0)

There should be a Dec Centre near you. The Woodworks stuff is really good, better than Ronseal and a lot cheaper.

Osmo is prob the best on the market, stretches much further than normal varnish and it's full of natural oils so will never flake etc.
