    HI Everyone

Had a dental appointment this morning to sort out a filling - am £45 lighter! Have also got a very numb mouth - the dribbling has just about stopped ;). I did walk there so have got my exercise for the day.

I'm working from home because of the tube strike so I can do a few bits done while I am at home.

I've just missed a call from the organisation I applied for a job for earlier this week. I hope they call back! I'm hoping its good news and I have got an interview.

    MY list for today:
    • [STRIKE]loaf in BM[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Storecupboard meals[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Scratchie[/STRIKE]
    • Go to Yoga to use up my paid for classes. WHOOPS - AM STAYING AT HOME FOR A REST!
    • [STRIKE]Walk 30 mins [/STRIKE]
    • clean bathroom
    • [STRIKE]clear up in kitchen[/STRIKE]
    • Look for driving license -I have no idea where it is!
    • Look into whether HSA is worth it for me.
    Have a great day.

    Congratulations Milly_party_

Hello newbie - I shall christen you 12MAC cos I can't possibly remember how to type that name! Fay gave very sound advice.

My little B is 13 today - my goodness how did that happen? I gave her a couple of Twilight things but her main present is our girly weekend in London next weekend. She has had some lovely presents with more to come tonight.

    1) Went to work.
    2) LSD - just a paper.
    3) Free lunch at a work meeting and got to bring leftovers back home which will do for lunch tomorrow.
    4) SC x 10p
    5) Paid in expenses cheque and OH paid me back some money he owed me.
    6) Returned some unworn shoes of T's to Clarks as I bought him some in Tesco the other day for £3 instead of £16.
    7) Wrapped up presents for some friends from stash.
    8) Someone collected my shelves that I freecycled.
    9) Bought two reduced birthday cakes from the supermarket late last night. 1for B , 1 for T ( Thomas Tank - perfect!).
    10) Checked banking and Quidco

Right, I'm off to make a fuss of my big girl, and make food for us and anyone who might visit!

    Have a good evening,
    L x

    Hello,

Didn't post yesterday as was busy fighting with council. Fight continues so gathering my strength here.

SM: Horrified to hear about your accident. Thank goodness you are both ok.

12monthanticlimax, try the budget sheets available in National Debtline. They are very good for analysing what are your monthly incomings and outgoings, your priority debts and your other debts. There is also great other information and they have free phone number and they are very helpful.

    So today:
    - Scratchies
    - Curly
    - Cashback bingo
    - Supper from what is in
    - Write another letter to council
    - Write letter to charity to ask for emergency money (plus money to pay for my BR)
    - Start spreadsheet busting
    - Take great pleasure from telling ex that his daughter will be too busy this weekend to see him (introducing her to new BF :D)
    - Probably should start hokey cokey as to get it all done before weekend
"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Thank you for all the congrats messages....my excitement has dropped now though as I rang Student Finance and was told I may not get any help for the 1st year as I studied for 2 years after i left school - did 2 and a bit years of a degree course and dropped out....can't beleive it's going to affect me now.....what a numpty I am:mad:
The lady said I might not even get the loan to cover tuition fees (£3100 I think)....so notsure what to do now. Going to apply anyway tonight and see..... I get Tax credits, a bit of HB as well as wages, so probably all going to be rather complicated...wish I just knew if I was going to be better/worse off and how much debt it'll get me in. Is it worth it?!
I really need to sort out a new signature!
