ppc invoice - to ignore or not?

HELP!!! My Mum's got one and is now frantic. The car park had just gone from free to pay & display. Usual problems with signage & excessive amount on invoice (£90, increasing to £120 is not paid within 14 days etc.etc.) Martin's article says to write to ppc advising them you won't pay & listing reasons. Most forum messages suggest to ignore invoice/letters etc completely. Anyone know which ways best (bearing in mind the old dear's ticker)?

Plain and simple, IGNORE.
Writing to them will just make them chase you more...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Ignore them totally and all associated threatening communication. Also, sit her down in front of your PC to read a few of the threads on here to see that she is far from the only person to be harrassed by these scammers. :mad:0

Thanks to you both, I'll see if she'll give it a go. Although I may have shot myself in the foot - I've told her if they do come after her for the cash & win, I'll pay it!0
