Media Player keeps filling up my USB drive with music

This is a real pain. Whenever I plug my USB drive into my PC it automatically 'syncs' with Windows Media Player and loads itself up with music. As a result, I can't ever save any files to it as it's always full, and I have to delete the music folder WMP has created. I can save stuff then, but it's a pain.
How do I stop it doing this?

From memory you need to open media player, find the entry in the sync list for your USB drive, and remove it from the list of devices Windows Media Player will sync with.
I think you need to open WMP, go to the sync tab, then on the left hand side it'll have a list of the devices it knows about/can sync with, find your USB stick and right click it, then tell it to end the "sync partnership".0
