£30 throw for 50p - Littlewoods

Hi all not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes:

Sale items in Littlewoods and all associated catalogues (empire, additions, kays, grattan, great universal, marshall ward) accept a £10 voucher code when you spend £10.
So I got this throw reduced to £10.50 and then put in this code:

ZQ281 at checkout, so total charged 50p.

Also I got a toddler potty training set from one of the other sites for free (reduced to £10 and then I put code in at checkout) and also some makeup for free. Not sure if they will deliver as a bit cheeky but worth a try.

Marshall ward charges £3.95 for delivery but still a bargain to be had.

I ordered from all the sites and paid around £20 for £150 worth of items happy days :):)

theres free delivery too. I just ordered a caridgan that was £27 down to £10 then i used the code. So i have got it for free. Im half expecting the order to be cancelled as i havent actually paid for anything. If so i might try again and add something which is a couple of quid. Will report back to let you guys know what happens.

    Thanks OP :)
  • I'm a bit worried about the part of the T&Cs that say "if we find you using codes you're not supposed to we may refuse your order or we may put your order through without the discount code" [paraphrased, I've closed the window now] ... £150 for £150 of items isn't such a bargain :P

But I did it anyway and just got £10 of stuff for free from Littlewoods. If they charge me, it's only a tenner.

the order where i didnt pay for anything didnt go through (not surprising). i decided on something else i wanted to buy which was £16 so i paid just £6. I assume the bit about using codes your not suppose to is if perhaps if you have used simular codes in the past or if you have set up multiple accounts to get the £10 off each time.
  • Anybody know when this discount expires?
  • I had a look at the original posters throw suggestion and decided I wanted it, I set up an account and ordered it but my tracking order said it would take £10.50 so I phoned up and the lady on the end of the phone said they would take the £10.50 out but then refund the £10 when the order has been despatched. Thought this information might be good for others to know.

Just thought I would let you lot know. The last couple of codes on here have not been honoured for me. One with Marshall Ward and one with Great Universal. The Great Universal code was also a first order code. The code is honoured when I checkout and brought my balance down to £3.00, but they have still snatched £13.00 from my bank account. I emailed them and they say codes cannot be used and will not be accepted unless isued to your personally. I am now in the process of returning my items. Are they alowed to do this though? Either they will accept it or they won't. Seems strange to me and a breach on Trades Description surely.

I ordered a pair of the Trinny & Susannah gold sandals that were £10 (with the voucher code). My invoice showed as £0.00 owing. Does anybody know if they will still take the £10 off me and then refund it, even though the balance owing was £0.00??

    TIA

i have twice used codes for littlewoods and the first time it was 0.00 they never took any out of our account by the way that was a 30 pound code but the second time which was for 10 pounds they took it and put it back a week later so as long as you can spare money out of your account for a week or so not a bad deal
