I have recently made a claim for PPI the Bank have refunded the full amount plus interest !! YIPEEE but they still want me to make the same amount of payments to them I have treid to explain that they have refunded my PPi so why do I have to make the same amount of payments ( as this payment included the loan + ppi ) but they say that I would be making a profit !! they cant accept that they are the ones who are making a profit ! can any one help me to try and get the Bank to understand that my repayments should be less now ???

If the payments are the same then the loan balance goes down quicker and you pay the loan off quicker and pay less interest. Less interest means less profit to them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
