I've not updated for a while, I've had a shocking summer cold which knocked me for 6 and I've already started my new extra job however, everything needed doing as soon as possible and as it was new to me took me longer than if I had known what I was doing.
Hopefully I'm back on form now. I need to do this weeks shopping and get to grips with where we are money wise. The good news is Ive been so ill and busy I've not had chance to spend! :rotfl:0 -
I think I've managed to figure out where we are with our money. Last week OH earned an extra £26.59, I had 60p of my £20 left (not good), we recieved our £5 for having our current account with Halifax, OH earned an extra 29.59 this week and I had £7.14 of my £20 left (better). I paid £20 off barclaycard and the rest went towards the overdraft.
Yesterday I ordered an M&S voucher from valued opinions, it will come in handy for a birthday presents. I'm still waiting for a love2shop voucher I ordered ages ago from Toluna, I looked to see when I ordered it an the website said I should receive it in the next few weeks. I need to order a voucher from pigsback as well as I've reached their payout level too. There seems to be so much coming from different places I think I might set up a spread sheet to track them all.

I've caught up with my emails now and have attempted every survey in my inbox and qualified for 3 or 4.
I'm going to track the spending of my £20 this week, so far I've got £17.82 left and I will be keeping my beady eye on it for the rest of the week. I managed to find £1.38 in one of my money hiding places, no idea what it was for or why it was there but it's off to the bank tomorrow.

I've really kept on top of all the surveys in my inbox this week and yesterday I listed 8 or 9 books on amazon most of them are the lowest priced books so fingers crossed they sell quickly.
It was OH's payday today so there's an extra £26.79 :j to go towards the overdraft. I also paid into the bank the random £1.38 I found in the house and I should have around £10 of my weekly spends left over which will also go towards the overdraft, I won't count it until it's in the bank though.

I had £10.12 of my weekly spends left. This was paid straight into the bank. By lunchtime on friday I'd sold one of my books on amazon, so that's been sent off.
I've just been paid and I've earned an extra £27.08, I should be paid from my new job soon as well and amazon have already sent £3.13 to my account for the book I sold although it will probably take a week or so to clear.
I've tracked my weekly £20 and so far I've spent £1.85 on amazon postage, £5.20 on 2 burgers for me and DS at the weekend, £3.98 on plants from the garden centre (tomato and cucumber) and £2.40 on supplies to make a gift for a friend. Which leaves me with £6.57 to last until friday. With it being the summer holidays I think there will be less of my money left at the end of the week as I'm having to pay for DS to do various activities and a few treats, but at least it's cheaper than paying a child minder.

Just logged into my topcashback account and I've got £2.85 that is ready to be paid out to me, so of course I've requested a BACS transfer. Not counting it yet until it arrives in my acount but it's all adding up.

I'm meeting a friend for lunch today, so I imagine that's where the rest of my weekly spends will be spent, hoping to go to somewhere like subway and get a sub of the day.0

My lunch out went well a total spend of £3.08 so not too bad. I've also bought a birthday card for £1. I had the need to check when my library books were due back earlier and I'm so glad I did, they were all due back tomorrow, so I've had chance to renew them all on line and save myself some silly silly fines. Off to write the new due date in my diary.

Well it's been a while since updated but last week OH earned an extra £5.68 and this week an extra £40.73, this seems to be where the bulk of our overpayments are coming from at the moment. Amazon paid me £3.13 although I sold another book this week and after fees it's actually cost me 40p, not happy about that. Top cash back have paid me £2.85 too and that was free money.
I think I have about £18 due from quidco this month too which is normally paid out to me any time now.
Thought I'd do a little list for this weekend
- list 5 items on ebay
- tansfer credit card balance
- look at extra ways to make a bit more from quico
- make sure I get paid from my second job
- Meal plan
- write shopping list
That little lot should keep me out of mischief for a while.
