Whilst I know that this is a bit off topic, but have you done all of the other things that can save you money? I apologise in advance if you have done these thing!
Eg changing your gas/electric/mobile phone/broadband/insurance (house, car and life), all to the cheapest provider? Whilst it won't help with your current debt, it will help keep your future expenditure down.
If you have sky/telewest, do you really need it. Would a freeview box do instead? If you do need sky/telewest, have you tried to get a cheaper package. There is a Martin tick on how to do this.
Have you worked out all your income and expenditure (with absolutely EVERYTHING noted down) and set yourself a realstic budget that you can stick to? You will need to do this with payplan anyway but it will help to know if their figure tally up with yours, and it will start to give you a sense of control.
