Terramundi

Hi
I was hoping for some advice. I recently bought a Terramundi online and picked it up from the sorting office only to find it was broken into several pieces. I've emailed the Terramundi people and am waiting to hear from them but has this happened to anyone else? Do Terramundi give out refunds or am I going to have to chase Royal Mail? It wasn;t fabulously well wrapped just swathed in that weird polystyrene type sheet. No bubble wrap or anything.
Any advice?

I would think it would be up to terramundi if it wasn't packaged well. They should send you a replacement

It's a money pot with only a little slit to put money in. When it's full you have to smash it to get the money out. Which I find quite amusing, sorry OP!jackiegibbo wrote: »whats a terramundi?

It's that awful feeling you get when you wake up the day after Sunday and realise that the weekend is over
(sorry that was bad wasn't it?)
From what I can find out (and I had to look this up) a terramundi pot is a money pot that you smash when you want to get your money out. Just looks like the OP's particular terramundi pot got smashed prematurely.
OP you will need to get your replacement/refund sent by the company you purchased from - they will have to take it up with Royal Mail, not you.0 -

OOOhh i see well i got one of those from the 99p shop but its a tin with a nice picture on it and i would have to use a tin opener on it if i wanted to get my money out0 -
I should have stuck with the 99p tin but I can't bear saving in a tin with the Dandy on it. It is ironic, isn't it??

These things cost a fortune, so if you ever get a 'whole' replacement, don't smash it when it gets full (the fairy story they use about smashing the pot to bring luck or whatever is just a sales ploy); use a broad bladed knife (bread knife or large dinner knife), poke it through the money slot and shake the pot gently so the coins slide out over the knife. You end up with a reusable pot and no broken bits to clean up.0
