need a 4/5 seater rental car from 28th August to 7th September (10 days)- to be picked up from Manchester, ideally from the Airport. will need unlimited mileage as will be doing around 500-600 miles.
above 30 driver , clean license held for >10 years

any help - really appreciated. I'm in the process of looking and thought I might seek help before I book

Most car rental places do decent deals for long term rentals.

Another option is to buy something for a few hundred quid? then flog it once you've finished with it...

    thanks harveybobbles.

can't go dwn the buying route, not that savvy with things.
I remember a deal - sometime last year where people were able to book cars for 2 months for less than £120. it was a fault with the car rental website, but they honured it, i guess. it was quite popular in HUKD at that time.

I'm hoping for a good deal, and is willing to take out the car for 14 days if that has a chance to give me a better rate
    thanks any way

Pick-ups from the airport are, IME, generally more expensive.

My best bet has been arnold clark whenever I've had to rent - the rates decent and I've always been able to find a voucher code for 10-15% off. No young driver surcharge either :T

Hopefully that link will work for you :)

Oh, they always seem to give me a better car than I've booked too

ive always found arnold clark much more expensive than anyone else, usually enterprise or budget are hard to beat on price.
