Any Mechanics about to help me with my Ford Focus Cmax problem?

no.. it's not the o2 sensor causing that. Or, at least, if the 02 sensor is faulty, there is something else wrong with the engine to cause that.
i would get the engine fault codes read.. maybe buy the reader yourself. they won't cost much on ebay. i bet it will show up something else.. probably another sensor.. the MAF, VAF, etc..
worst case is that it is something mechanical rather than electrical... perhaps worn valve stem oil seals, or worn piston rings, causing loss of cylinder compression.
does it have difficulty starting when cold, when hot, or both?
It does start the majority of the time. Just that sometimes it doesnt start first time but can 2nd time. Once I get going I know its going to be fine.
But when it struggles before firing there is a chance that it will cut before I get up to 3000 revs. When it cuts, the engine is still on as such but will not power when I press gas. I have to pull over and turn off and wait. When I turn off it shudders and stops. Wait a few mins and it will start fine no problems and off I go.
You mentioned getting the equipment myself, what would I be looking for?
A solution that connects to my laptop would be ideal as I am much better on a comp than a car. I think finding out for myself what it is will make me more confident of going to the garage.0 -

P2110 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced Limited
RPM
So looks like you have a problem with your throttle -
DTC P2110 and P2104 set together - Forced Limited RPM and Forced Idle Mode
With or without power to the ETB motor, the throttle plate will be forced to an idle position. As a result, the vehicle speed will be limited to a low fixed speed. Naturally, the cruise control will be inoperative as the throttle control will be base on a zero throttle position. This can be caused by TPPC failure, two TPS failures, or two or more APPS failures. Also, the PCM can experience internal faults such as E-quizzer and communications faults to set this mode. Should the ETB or TPS be improperly wired, the PCM will enter this mode as well.:beer:0 -
What would a mechanic check? What sort of costs?0
