Hi All
I am currently in the process of setting up an online business, and just wondered if someone could advice me on how much i am likely to pay for a decent website. It will need to have a shopping cart, login details etc. However budget is very tight.
Thanks in advance

I'd look at Zen Cart and OS CommerceUbuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

depends how complex it is.. you can get the software like OS Commerce for free, but if you want someone to skin and design the site for you, that is what you're paying for.
If you asked me, you're probably looking at around £750 ish to get something like that set up, and personalized with a secure server for CC payments, offline if you have that system or integrating into googlecheckout / paypal...

Yep, something decent is going to cost you upwards of £500, although I may be able to sort you out something, PM me for details0

I think a professional ecommerce website, fully compliant to WC3 standards, with a shopping cart, and content management system (CMS) so you can do all of your future product updates yourself would be around £300.
Drop me a PM if you would like to know more.0
