    If the driveway has a dropped kerb and you block access you can be ticketed and towed if the householder requests it from memory.

    The laws regarding parking across peoples drives are about to change. It will be an offence to park across a drop curb soon. and the councils are being given the power to enforce it - I sense a nice little revenue earner coming......

    Would this include parking accross your own dropped kerb driveway !!

    Yes. However it is only an offence if you ask the councils/police to enforce it.

    Basically you can still park on dropped kerbs, but if you ask for someone else to be moved/ticketed, it is an offence for everyone then, including property holder- it is not their personal space on the highway.

    Employers CANNOT require employees to park company vehicles on their own driveway.

    Not if there are parking restrictions in the area.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
