Hi,
I've recently had cause to buy lots of train tickets for a trip away in August. I'm using Virgin trains mainly to go from London up north. I was kinda hoping that I would be able to blag myself the £12 single tickets as soon as they became available so I was checking thetrainline.com's website. The tickets for the day in question came available yesterday, however when I went to book the tickets at 9pm, the prices were either £59 or £84. I ended up booking the last train of the day, getting very late but it was only £23, almost double the price I was hoping for.
I will have to book the return journey in the next few days so I would appreciate it if someone was able to tell me the exact time of day that Virgin Trains make their 12 weeks in advance tickets available.
Many thanks,
Lieutenant Thrift

There is no exact time of day - you are looking for precision where none exists.
And the 12 weeks is not exact either.0
