Premium Bonds pay no interest.
A prize pot equal to 1% (a year) of the amount invested is divided at random between bond holders.
If you win a prize it's tax free.
But why would you want to give up 3% interest to share in a prize pot that, by the law of averages, is going to give you a third of that amount?0 -
Have you thought about speaking to an independent advisor about what might be the best way to invest/save your money?Kavanne

if you have a high amount of money that you ideally should put it in investment bonds over a period of time where the interest you accrue is paid out in a monthly sum which you could use to help live off or pay your credit card bills.
have a shop around for the best rate and as has been mentioned dont put the money all in one place
check national savings and investments for their bonds rate and also their stock exchange investments0 -
I currently don't have a credit card never needed to have one to be honest0
