    Wills are important however simple you think your stuff is. :)

    And not just to make your intentions clear but also because people often presume that everything they leave will automatically go to their spouse - and it's not so.

    Intestacy rules that while some goes to a spouse, the rest is divided between adult children and, sometimes, even more distant relatives will make a claim. It could mean a spouse being forced to sell their home to pay everyone off. :(

    See this is my point it is still being distributed, just not where you wanted it. It is still going to a younger generation in the form of wages.
