Reclaiming cash from Topshop \ Arcadia Group

Years ago, some friends gave me a Topshop gift card with £50 on it.
The problem was, that each time I went Topshop never seemed to have anything in my size (Im fairly tall and broad shouldered).

Earlier this year it occurred to me that I might as well transfer some of the cash over to another card and give it to a friend as a gift. I went in to a Topshop branch to do this, only to be told that the card had expired and there was nothing they could do there, I would need to contact the their head office (Arcadia Group).

I duly sent off a letter to the Arcadia Group with the card information on it. A couple weeks later I received a letter from GE Money saying that they'd got my letter, but there was some mistake with the card no as the numbers they issued were different.

What I think has happened is that someone at Arcadia Group, automatically forwarded the letter onto GE Money who now deals with their in store cards.

I've sent a letter back to both GE Money and Arcadia Group explaining that this is a Topshop gift card and again which has nothing to do with GE Money. As well as providing the Account number of the card once again, I also provided my home address, my mobile number and my email address.

Its now been over a month since I sent those letters and I havent heard from Arcadia Group yet. (Not expecting to hear back from GE Money)

What is the best way for me to proceed?

Thanks

But was the date on the card or does it say anything about the 2 year cut off date ... this was given as a gift, so unless the info is on the card, how are they meant to know??

The card was sold to someone who knew the terms is they didnt pass that on to the recipient that isnt arcadias fault.
