Yup, they are registered in Vancouver but the server itself is in Slovakia - you say the payment was taken from Hungary, so it doesn't look too promising. http://whois.domaintools.com/takethattour.net
1) Contact your credit card company, tell them about it and ask them to cancel your card immediately.
2) If the value was over £100 they will send you a claim form - if less than £100, then I think you're not covered by Section 35.
3) Beware of scam websites - I know it can be hard.
Whatever you do, don't be tempted to contact any of the people on that whois link, because they are probably all working together and all you will do is get your email address added to lots of confirmed spam lists. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

Definitely contact Barclaycard, although you may need to play hardball as 'theoretically' they'd only cover you if each individual ticket was over £1000 -

Why do people give their CC details to websites they have never heard of? Are we a nation of idiots?0

I don't think that's valid in this case - OP's sister wanted to buy tickets for a Take That concert (now we could question the sense in that, but...) and the site appears legitimate on the face of it.Why do people give their CC details to websites they have never heard of? Are we a nation of idiots?
If people took that view, they would never do business with anyone other than high street names - and should they reject halifaxonline.co.uk (it doesn't mention hbos and isn't simply "halifax") or bankcardservices.co.uk (MBNA's secure site)? The last one looks well dodgy, but is in fact legitimate.
If the site looks professional and is written in perfect English, it can be hard to tell the good from the bad, and unfortunately it means it's been set up by someone a lot more professional than most. You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...:cool:0 -

Definate scam, if your card has not been billed then cancel it although payment can still go through. If not try reclaiming ack from your credit card companycinderRILEYYY wrote: »ive been reading on here about this website i have bought 3 tickets off it well i think i have, but im really unsure wot to believe as some people are saying no dont do it then others are saying they got a phone call saying the tickets are at the venue, and one other person actually got a full refund i dont no wot to do wheather to report it the police or just wait has anyone actually recieved a ticket? or gone to the concert and got it there??0 -
sure fire scam i see them at work constantly.
Contact bank as advised they will send out form for you, or advise you to write in with certain information for them to charge back the transaction.
shouldnt be too much of a hassle.
Any ye stick with ticketmaster or something next time,, the amount of merchants that are dodgy with tickets is insane.
Good luck0
