Trying to find a webcam that runs with Windows ME

My MIL has a computer which runs Millenium Edition package and we are having a lot of trouble finding a webcam that is compatible with this package.
Do you have any suggestions/ideas? She refuses to upgrade her computer as she doesnt use it a lot and there is nothing wrong with it but would like a webcam to speak to her daughter who lives away.
Many thanks

I doubt you'll find much which is compat, ME was (is?) one of the worse operated systems ever produced by Microsoft and it's ancient too.0

Trust SpaceCam 200 or 400. They're not the best web cams but they are ME compatible.
I think the entire Trust SpaceCam series are ME compatible though I havn't used the others myself.Laptop: Asus X58L; 2Ghz Celeron M575; 1Gb RAM; Intel X3100 Graphic chip set; 120Gb Hitatchi HTS542512K; 15.4" Widescreen. Vista Home Basic
Desktop:Custom Build; Pentium 4 - 3.20Ghz; 1Gb Dual DDR2700 Ram; Radeon 9800Pro 128Mb AGP Graphics Card; 60Gb Maxtor 4R060L0; Windows 7 Ultimate0 -
And to add, if you are using it online (which I assume you are hence the webcam requirement) it's incredibly insecure too, so if you are connecting that PC to the net, upgrade the OS for safety as a bare minimum.0

upgrade the OS for safety as a bare minimum.
- Windows XP Home Edition (OEM) - £65 @ Ebuyer
- Windows Vista Home Premium (OEM) - £80 @ Ebuyer
- Ubuntu - £0
- Kubuntu - £0
- Xubuntu - £0

I agree, get rid of ME or you will have nothing but problems. ME is not even supported by Microsoft anymore.
How old is the PC and how often is it used? Todays PC's are cheap and so much more advanced. I know it's not the cheapest answer but it is by far the best. Your MIL will wonder why she didn't make the change sooner, a little like dial up to broadband0
