Building Society administration fees

Just had a letter from Coventry Building Society. I have arrears not too much about £600 and have an agreement to pay extra each month to repay the arrears. Last month i could only pay the normal instalment and this prompted a letter from the collections department of the Coventry asking for payment and charging an administation fee of £25. I'm not too fussed about the request as it will be paid soon but are these admin. charges and over the years i have had a few reclaimable as bank charges are, i know everything is on hold at the moment but can i still put a claim in and has anybody out there had any joy from building societies or even the Coventry. When implementing these charges it is said the charge is paid at the end of the mortgage so i assume it is put onto the amount owed.
Some years ago i requested some charges back from Nat/West and got about £1400 back so i know the procedure for banks. Is it the same for Building Societies ?.
