Taking the kids to stay with my brother inCardiff for a few days next week. Anyone got any vouchers or discounts for places to go please

So far have

Free swimming
2 for 1 at TGI Friday
Free bowling at megabowl courtesy of the Express

2 for 1 at vue doesn't seem to be working anymore though.

Any other ideas?

if you will be here during half term, pick up a copy of the echo (local newspaper), as that is always full of money off/BOGOF vouchers for things to do with the kids during half term

other than that, for free stuff in the area,

cosmeston lakes in penarth is good
barry island
walk from lavernock point to sully island (beware of the tide)
loads of free/cheap stuff to do down cardiff bay
have a run around bute park and play poohsticks off one of the bridges
st fagans museum of welsh life (entry is free, just pay about £2 for parking)
national museum of wales (free admission)


thats all i can think of at the mo, will write more if i think of anything else

There are BOGOF's for Harry Ramsdens Fish and Chips worth printing off from the forums, there is a Harry's in Cardiff Bay.

if you run out of ideas, head to the tourist info centre in the centre of town, they are always really helpful in there, and will be able to point you in the right direction of cheap/free things to do with kids.
