Parking in London
Options
Dear All
I am going to the theatre tomorrow at the Shaftesbury theatre, i am driving from the Southampton area and will be driving the M3 route, i was planning to try and park at kew gardens as i know there are some free spaces. my questions for you helpful people
1. Is there still some free parking there
2. If i can't park there, does anyone know of any cheap or reasonable priced parking near a tube station bearing in mind we won't be back to the car park until at least 11.30pm
Thanks for your help

Do you realise there is a tube strike on tomorrow? You should make sure you know your busses to get to Shaftsbury Avenue. Try TFL http://www.tfl.gov.uk/ for bus routes.
There is an NCP in Feltham that is on the line to Waterloo as is Kew. You can get a bus from Waterloo Station.0 -
Because of the tube strike believe it or not you may be better driving all the way to shaftesbury. There is fairly cheap parking just off orange street. We parked there for a show and only cost us £8 parking! This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0

Not relevent for your theatre trip, but for future reference, you could try freetopark.co.uk. It's a text back service, telling you where you can park for free all day near tube stations. I have used it a few times and saved a fortune!0
