Hi
I have now got my SAR from Welcome Finance and all it has in it is my payment statement and a note of a few telephone conversations where I asked for a settlement figure and the fact that I was querying the amount. No mention of PPI or anything else.I was really surprised at how little they sent me and how they could use this to make a decision on the fairness of my PPI claim. What do I do now?
Thank you

Hi There write to them now with the 1st template on the site and give them 8 weeks to reply. State all the reasons that you feel you have been miss sold. Send by recorded delivery. And await their response. Good Luck:mad:0 -

Hi amwynn
If you feel there should be more information within the SAR, you can write back to ask them why have they not sent all the information as requested on the SAR you sent them, ask them to explain why they cannot provide this.
I know you don't always received everything requested but if its hardly anything and if you think something is amiss, it maybe worth you asking them to provide this, or explain why they can't.
You can give them something like 7-10 days to provide either more documents, and tell them if you hear nothing, not even an explanation you will consider contacting the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
https://www.ico.gov.uk/Global/contact_us.aspx
Who should be able to look into this for you on your behalf.
Depending if you think you have enough information to work on to help your reclaiming case, even so if you were mis sold, you can still try to reclaim, with your reasons.
Link to reclaiming the ppi with guidelines and templates here:

Write your own reasons in the template, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, post up for more help if required, good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi
I have had a reply to my letters and the SAR was requested because they have said that I wasn't mis-sold a PPI. If that is all they have I don't know how they came to that decision. I contacted the insurer and they are forwarding me a copy of the policy which they said should have been sent out to me along with my agreement but wasn't.The policy was for five years and not eight as I would have needed. I had also been pensioned off at the time and not due any sickness benefit therefore I would not be eligble for redundancy payments. The fact is the policy was worthless to me.There is no mention of how the money was split each month only the single premium and also a single premium for fee disbursement as it was a secured loan.Sorry for rambling on but I get so angry with this company and what they have got away with
Regards

Always best to get it off your chest.;)
You still have good reason here, one of those being sold a 5 year policy that you would be paying for the life of the loan, where it only covered you for five of those years.
So of course its worthless to you.
They should also have full calculations on this, and I would if you can request for these.
I'm sure the FOS would resolve this for you if you have to take it this far.
