Sat Nav - Want to Purchase any info please?
Hi,
I'm looking to buy sat nav as a present, but know NOTHING about it! Had a look in Comet today but the sales assistant only wanted to sell me TomTom?! He did ask me if I would be using it abroad, but I only need it for use in the UK.
Had a look on the Sat Nav Hunt thread but it's a few months old now. Is the Garmin i3 still a good buy?
ANY help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Garmin model you mention seemed very popular when quicksave/somerfield were selling it cheap, if you can find one cheap I'd say gor for that one.
Use a Nokia 6630 myself with tomtomWelcome, rogerramjet.

yeah i use my nokia 6680 with mobile tomtom 5 on it, also have speed camera database on it. The road angel navigator is ment to be very good, but the price tag refects this0
