Been lurking for a while on this board.
thought i would give it a go, im trying to get organised. im 5 months preggers and will be giving up work shortly, trying to get on top of finances and spending.....so hopefully with help will manage.

the small things i will be doing today:
    • Play some free Cheeky Bingo - £5.65 in the pot so far (need £30 to withdraw)
    • butlins free scratchy - £2.62 in the pot so far
    • check Greasy Palm £22.10 (need £25 before 01 July)
    • root around on Pigsback - 680 points so far (need to get 1150 points for the £5 Boots voucher for some nice things for me)
    • washing at 40 degrees and now hanging on the line
    • packed lunch for DD1 and leftover pasta bolognese with salad for lunch for me
    • Low spend day - 40p for other halfs paper and that should be all I need to spend today
    • dinner from freezer - tandoori chicken breasts with rice and mixed frozen veg, (whatever is lurking in the freezer at time)
I do the free clicks with GP and was just wondering what other free clicks people use on here that i should start up, and is this quite time consuming?

    • laundry hokey cokey

    • dug out some spare batteries for camera - must find the rechargeable ones and get them charged up
    • collected some newspapers for recycling into fire logs
    • recycled some jars ready for jam making

Hi everyone - bigs hugs to you SM, I hope you're not too shaken up. Maybe the new tyres prevented the crash from being any worse? You could look at it that way!

    1) LSD - just a paper, and some bread later.
    2) Went to work.
    3) Had packed lunch.
    4) SC x 10p. 'Boring!' says T.
    5) Going to collect T's bike in a bit.
    6) Cheap pasta bake for tea made with value toms and kidney beans.
    7) Cut out a MOC from magazine.
    8) Refilled the Kandoo with watered down cheap soap. Works just as well.
    9) Checked banking and nearly cried. Then later I realised I had expenses to pay in and felt much better. What a relief!
    10) Got free cinema preview tickets for The Proposal in a couple of weeks.

    Catch you later,
    L x
  • hello everyone, hope you are all ok and have had a good day!!!

ive had a very strange day, including a headache and feeling light headed. it keeps happening then a cake and a coca cola sorts it out.

anyway had a little bargain hunt in asdas and got the following:

    • fairtrade pineapple - was £1.50 paid 97p
    • tender leaf bag of lettuce - was £1 paid 25p
    • 2 avocados - was £1.38 paid 59p
    • 3 peppers - was £1 paid 50p
well impressed!!!! will get me through till the weekend at least....

    i also:
    • posted signed for letters to tax office to see if they owe me any tax as ive had about 25 tax codes in last 2 years, a letter to sky following cancellation within cooling off period and them never getting back to me and sending the bill to a debt collectors.
    just checked ebay and have:
    • 5 items definately will sell today.
and paid council tax so should have bought up to date following missed dd. just need to work out other debts and work on making payments.

Lurlene - you have made a good point about the tyres, the new tyres would definately have helped, if you had seen the state of my car you would wonder how anyone walked away from it.

Evening everyone. Hope everyone is good today especially Sophiesmum after your ordeal.

Love all the hugs going round - feeling glum today and in need of one! This thread keeps me on track and being positive, so here's today's list:
    • checked banking, no nasty surprises
    • daily clicks
    • did scratch and got 20p - first time since I signed up that I haven't had the fish with the lipstick! :T
    • posted some Amazon sales and didn't spend on anything else today
    • finally started the job application I've been putting off for days - due tomorrow!
    • did a selection of surveys for points/competition entries - YouGov, Lightspeed and OnePoll. Still a very long way off reaching any payouts
    • lots more bigwardrobe action - received a cash offer (still thinking about whether to accept) and have another agreed swap.
    • checked cashback sites - £13.28 validated with Wepromiseto, £7.17 confirmed and £8.30 pending from Topcashback and £16.07 approved with £37.24 pending from Mirrorcashback. Getting frustrated with the latter as payout level is £25 and have been stuck on that £16.07 for about 2 months.
Think that's it. Must get an early night tonight so I can be up early tomorrow and finish this application.
