I was on the motorway yesterday for a good few hundred miles.
When I left home, it was clear and sunny so I drove at around 85-90mph.
Over an hour later, it was starting to darken so I slowed down to 70mph. Then the hail and rain started so I slowed to 50mph, perhaps slower.
The car in front of me when the hail started continued at 70mph.
Is 70mph in hail safer than 90mph on a clear dry road?
well that all depends keith, were you sober or was the guy doing 70 in the hail drunk. that seems to be what this has turned into...work permit granted!0 -

Thats what has confused the hell outta me lol0 -
Indicated 60 in a 50 is probably just under the trigger limit of 57mph in reality anyway0

I see mine and one of harveys' posts has been deleted. Nice to know we wound at least one person up.
Didn't realise mentioning speeding would get posts removed on here. Watch out nomoneytoday!0 -
The original NIP would have been issued with 14 days of the offence and sent to the leasing company. They would have 28 days to supply the name and address of the person driving and the Police then have another 14 days in which to issue that named person an NIP.
It would therefore technically still be possible to hear even though it has already been 6 weeks.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's good to know that the mods will still randomly delete things on a topic but do not let you know which rule you've breached.0 -
Maybe they don't let us know cos its wastes the keyboard out. ie money saving...
Also having posts deleted makes the other posters comments make no sense lol...0 -
Oh the joy of paranoia induced by camera enforcement.
'I was driving in a horrendous thunder storm the other day with heavy rain and surface water. The thunder was rumbling away when suddenly there were two flashes.
I don't remember seeing a GATSO so I wonder what it might have been?'
