:) Forgot to say the item is held until end of today in Haverhill, but if someone could pick it up and deliver it to my sone in Bury St Edmunds or myself between B St E and Ipswich, I could then sort out getting it to Compulsiveshopper. :):)

Altojack, you really are a star - isn't this board full of the nicest people!?
I've actually found that Boots online sell the shrieking shack for £19.99 which is still a pretty good bargain - especially if you couple it with the 59.99 tv/dvd combo to qualify for free postage.......and to think pre-babies I was a trainee accountant hehehehe!

I agree £10 is too low but £108.10 is ridiculous (dell love their little jokes!), no way its worth that!!! It's probably worth about £30??

    No I didnt :(:(:(

Do you have household contents insurance?
If so if you lost/damaged your phone within your home it will be covered
If lost/damaged outside your home you would still be covered as long as you have personal possession extension to your policy.

Many many people take out needless mobile phone cover and have this cover check your home contents policy and cancel your mobile phone policy if the cover is in place, there is no point in having dual cover as you can only claim from one or the other policy, and the first thing your moby ins company will do is refer you to your contents insurer if you have one, that or make a claim against your policy to recover a percentage if not all of their loss.

Check your policy and save yourself pounds!!

For those of you who do have Home contents cover and seperate mobile cover the cost of adding personal possession cover will be much less than seperate mobile cover, always worth a phonecall to your insurance company.

Sorry to drift off thread so much Argosites.

  • I have reservations of some items which I have been after and have now managed to reserve more local to myself or decided not to buy. Below is a list of items and where they are held ... PM me for reservation numbers ... expire at the end of today, however is is possible to contact stores directly and tell them you cannot make it today can they extend the reservation, has worked for me before. Here we go:

    DAVENTRY STORE
    567/6082 James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing - 1 £ 7.49 +*
    PS2 Game.

    STROUD STORE
    670/0469 ICDB26 Micro Cassette Recorder/Telepho 1 £ 14.99 *
    ne Recording Adaptor.
    567/6082 James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing - 1 £ 7.49 +*

    LEAMINGTON SPA
    567/5959 Ratchett and Clank 2 - PS2 Game. 1 £ 7.49 +*
    285/3499 Ripcurl Girls Blue Backpack. 1 £ 4.99 *
    534/3102 4 Room Booster with Surge and IR. 1 £ 8.99 *

The items listed under each store are all one the same reservation no. I guess you could buy what you need using the number and ask them to release the other items for someone else to buy. The 007 game is still in stock at Daventry as is Ratchett and Clank 2 at Leamington.
