ARGOS CLEARANCE SALE MARK XXII

Whynot - go to the argos site, to their ex-catalogue clearance section here - there's a menu on the left hand side of the screen starting with "Clearance sound and vision" then "clearance toys" - you need to click on each of these headings individually, then, if you want to see everything under that heading, you will see another box at the left hand side saying "browse ..." whatever section. scroll down that a bit, and about halfway down, you'll see a bit that says "On Special Offer" with a number next to it. Click on that and it will show you all items in that section.

I hadn't realised, however, that it does only show you the clearance items under, for example, sound and vision. To see the toys, you have to go back to the main "clearance" page, and use the first menu to click on the toys heading, then down to the special offer heading with the number next to it. There are a lot under toys!!

I haven't found any way of viewing ALL the clearance/RO items - anyone any suggestions?

Can anyone confirm that the new RO sale starts on wednesday if so does anyone have the list of products

According to "Cheeky", on post #558 (posted early this afternoon), he/she has a copy of the list, and has confirmed it starts wednesday.

Cheeky - is this the stuff that is currently on their website in the catalogue clearance section? If so, are the prices further reduced, or roughly what has already been advertised?

I know on the argos website there are around 300 ish toys, some good bargains on xmas trees, etc - sounds like it might be similar.

Ahhhh thanks for thinking of me Stumpy, nice tree too, was half expecting would of been 269/5334 .
Havent been on here nearly as much last few weeks, had some "issues" to sort for kids thats taken loads of time up, hopefully worth it tho and I think am getting somewhere .
Just read the last couple of pages, got some more back reading to do ( great to see a mention of me tho ) )
Another RO sale tho ohhhhh noooooo my credit cards wont be able to take it! Only just recovering from the last lot of Argositus. Is it possible to get Argos patches to help stop the cravings?

Yep, looks like mainly existing stuff reduced to 75%. List is 14 pages long, 3 are extra stores stuff - Of the 11 standard Argos, 6 pages are toys, 1 of xmas stuff. Rest is a mishmash of everything - some mobiles, camping, stereos, watches... Whoever asked, no tv's or hoovers i am afraid

thats a real shame - does anyone else know where we can get a copy of the RO list? I've tried the last time in all the Glasgow stores and no one would let me near it, but I know others were more successful. We can't rely on having to keep asking cheeky every 2 mins!
