At the top of my RO list which I picked up last year it says RUN OFF LIST so I'm presuming that's what the RO stands for :-)

Sounds like proof to me!! Unless anyone wants to argue (remember the kneecaps people ;)) thats what I'll stick to!! :D
  • Could you all have a look at the NEW thread I've started, and if you have anything at all to add, please do so. Then perhaps it could be made 'sticky' and used as a starting point for all 'newbies' to the Argos game.

    Thanks

    Valiant :)

STUMPY are you there? More work for you lass, I'm afraid! You've got to change the front(?) page on your web-site to show our 'independence' from the 'Grabbit' board.

DOH! Just noticed  :o its already done.

Football and Argos don't mix it seems ;)

You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Kevin - see my post a couple of pages back - the Ring & Reserve line will not recognise either number for the Sony Headphones.....it's probably someone being instore.....although a poster did say he got some but where/how we do not know........

Pieman - if I remember rightly, someone around about post 370/390 ish stated that they had got a printed RO list from instore somewhere fairly recently, and this item was on it. Of course, it could just have been a phantom - they do tend to get the odd item that's on the list, but isn't actually anywhere to be found. However, if it was correctly represented on the list, then there should still be some out there somewhere (unless of course, they've been snapped up in the meantime!!)

Hehe!! Think I'm following you around tonight!! And I quite agree with the football thing - which is why I was here updating my site (which I only just remembered to do an hour or so ago!) rather than dwelling on the drubbing the Teessiders were getting. :o (although hubby was "kind" enough to keep me informed !)

Hmmm. Had problems posting that last message - is there a restriction on the number of smilies we can have?
  • Just picked up a Nokia Bluetooth headset for £20 (was 79.99) from my local Argos (Bangor NI). The code off it is 546/4902, it doesn't work on the website.

    Hi,

I just rang the ring and reserve/stock checker phone number and it did not recognise the code 546/4902.

Also I can't find it in the old catalogue, is it in the new one?

    Thanks
