Thanks - I understand those links but I'm not sure where the lists came from ??? Looking through postings there seems to be talk of things not on these lists and that these have been put together by MSE members - how has this happened? Is there some inside link into Argos? :-X or (I'm guessing now) is it a case of looking for items which were in an old catalogue that aren't in a new one and then ringing the phone number to see if these are available?? I also don't quite understand how you get the items - it seems to be a case of ringing different stores to see if they have any of the items you're interested in - is that right?

No it isn't any good ringing round the stores. You need to go in and punch the codes in from the list. Very little out there now.

The new catalogue is due out middle of Jan. Probably beginning of February is when all the fun will start again ;D - well that's what some people are hoping anyway .

Had a look for you in my local argos but no luck sorry.  My son also suffers from allergies & we bought ours from tesco.com which was the cheapest we could find - not quite argos price though!!  ;D

wee Fifer I dont remeber me getting descriptive of the effect of being mounted at the top of tree (wouldnt be printable ) BUT what a most deserving person to recieve the award you are ;D . Actualy parting with one of the Greeny and goldie coloured ring thingys. Now that definitly deserves top of tree, jabby bits, tinsel AND flashing lights ::) ...... can I switch em on ...... and no fishing back through archives to find me getting descriptiveabout jabby bits n doctering em b4 u go there .
