He said deposits had been paid on 35 of the apartments retailing from £135,000.
John Davis of property consultants Davis and Armstrong, told the newspaper: "Everyone and his dog is trying to talk up the market so that people again feel panicked that they should get back on to the ladder.
"The reality is that there is very little demand for property in the north of Ireland."
Since when did the wealth management firm Armstrong Davis become the 'property consultants Davis and Armstrong?

hilarious. If the property market is on the up as claimed then why would estate agents have to deceive people with fake buyers like this? :rotfl:Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

Brit - are you still expecting 50% drops by Christmas?
Yes for what I'm buying. I'm going for an auction just before christmas when the markets at its weakest.
Remember I have shown a number of properties in the last 12 months that have already dropped 50% in London.
We are going through a spring bounce. Many of the properties bought have been by case buyers due to low interest rates, this money has to run out. It has not been by the the majority of first time buyers, those of this group who have bought have been through shared equity or ownership. With first time buyers the core of the market priced out the market can't pick up. Already people have flooded the market with properties thinking there is going to be a recovery. More properties will mean lower prices as long as the fiance isn't there.
There are two fundamentals at the moment which stop rises.
1, restrictive lending
2, Rissing Unemployment
Interest rate cuts and quantative easing reduce this but the fundamentals are still there, the banks still have increasing loses.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.
