To be fair chucky, when Brit made those comments, it was before we knew that the government were going to print money to artificially prop up the market, it is working to a degree at this time, however the funny money will eventually stop.

Have you noticed how it has subtly changed from the market is going to tank this year to 'we expected a Bull trap', charts n'all icon7.gif.
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher

very true - so you're now saying that the price drops won't be as bad as predicted?
it sounds like you're now agreeing with Stevie, Dan, Really, the legendary Mr Pickles and myself that the price drops wouldn't be as bad as expected ;)

i was wondering if Brit still thought that as it's still in his posts.

we deal in facts with house price numbers increasing or even decreasing.
RICS reports, Nationwide, Land Registry etc...

these guys deal in pictures telling us that the future is going to be very bleak and house prices will drop 50% or even 70% ;)

TBH, I still feel that the 'normal' recession conditions will drop the market by another 20% over the next 3-4 years, the huge drops predicted before Christmas now seem to have gone away, unless of course another catastrophe awaits us.
