EDF Billing mess
We moved to Bristol in September, informed EDF that we had moved in and received a bill in October just for Sept-Oct. Fine, we paid that off, then all of a sudden in March we get a bill from Sept-March but with a different account number.
So they are trying to charge us twice for Sept-Oct. When we brought this up with them they said that this was only for March, we were like !!!!!!?! It is impossible to use £468 for 1 month.
Today we got another bill with the old bill plus from march-april saying if we don't pay the "arrears" then they will cut us off. We're not disputing the rest of the bill, the rest spread over the correct amount of months, minus what we already paid works out about right.
We've given them correct meter readings, done everything asked of us. We don't know what to do next really.

Looking back at the bills, can you reconcile the meter readings with the reading when you moved in and what it is now?
Does the opening reading of your March bill match the closing reading of the September bill? Same with today's bill - ideally the closing reading on today's bill will be accurate when compared to your meter.0
