anyone had a delay in their petrol, milage forms from tax office

hiya

has anyone claimed there tax back off using there own vehicle for work.

we put in a claim at start of april and we still havent had the money,we have rung them constantly and have been told there is a 8 to 9 week delay which has now passed, husband rang them friday and they said claim still wasnt on the system and too leave it 2 more weeks.

we are worried that claim has been lost and they havent recieved it or hopefully there is a backlog and havnt got to ours yet.

anyone had same experience.

the office is merseyside by the way.

There is clearly a backlog and, although irritating, is pretty usual at busy times. It's unlikely that they've lost your claim (and they have nothing to gain by not telling you if they had). Just be patient for another few weeks.
