Last night, I paid in the region of £20 to download tracks from Tiscali music.
I was searching for individual tracks to make a compliation. When Tiscali had received my money they began to download albums I was only checking the playlist on! As a result I ended up with TWO albums I did not want.
If that wasn't enough, I went to burn my compilation cd, only to find that I can't.
The licences are not valid for me do do so.
It was clearly marked on tracks that WERE ONLY FOR STREAMING that the licence was not available to download . Therefore I didn't waste my time and try to download them. NO WHERE did it state that you COULDN'T burn your downloads to cd once you had purchased.
This has defeated the whole purpose of me foraying into downloading music. Sitting here now with a hard drive of music that I can't play outside of my living room >:( >:(
Has anyone else experienced problems with Tiscali, or am I just very unfortunate to end up being suckered out of £20?
I am in the process of emailling Tiscali to tell them how !!!!!! off I am and also to let them know I have made this public.
