Car insurance too cheap?! Advice needed.

Hi, i have been researching all day to find the cheapest car insurance for my 2002 VW Polo 1.2
Using all the comparison websites the cheapest i could find was about £1800, bearing in mind that i am male, 19 with a DR-10.
Then i checked on churchill and it is only £1160
I checked my details thoroughly, how is it that it is so much cheaper? Have i missed some vital piece of information, or assumption that means that i'm cheating the sytem or something?
Also i can buy it straight away online without having to ring up or anything?
It seems like too much of a good thing?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You need to check very thoroughly that all the information is correct.
Sometimes these comparison sites make assumptions.
e.g. One asked us whether we had access to other "vehicles".
We said yes as we had motobikes.
When we checked the quote, it had assumed we meant cars and the quote incorrect said we had access to other cars which was not true.
So triple check all the details in case any of your information has been "mangled" in the process.0 -
Also double check the excesses on the policy. Could be alot cheaper because they have doubled the excess.
Check for total excess as opposed to voluntary excess. i.e you could choose 0 vol excess but they might have you down for £500 compulsory excess.
Yes, you can take out the policy online without phoning up the co but when you receive your paperwork go over it all again and make sure its as you requested it. (its good practice to do this anyway, even if you have taken a policy over the phone):heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Check your estimated annual mileage isn't too low.0
