Our back door handle has broken but we are having a nightmare replacing it as it doesn't seem to be made anymore! We went to our local door and window company and he said we wouldn't be able to find one so it means a new door. Please help! We can't afford a new door!

Yeah I looked on here but they don't make a handle that matches our measurements.0

I had a similar problem some time back. i couldn't find anything online or in the chain DIY stores. My local UPVC place sorted me out though. They can also supply oversized handles and fit them that way if you have no luck finding an exact match.
Hope that helps.0 -
Might be an idea to take the dimensions of the handle as given by the site and give them a ring.
I noted that they were updating their range. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
oh you cynical thing cjw118 you think they would rather sell you a £15 door handle than a £600 door !!!!!!!!!!!0

We recently had a customer with a door lock that we couldnt get a replacment for as it wasnt made anymore. We contacted the maker of the lock and they fixed it for us for £15, needless to say our customer was v.happy as she paid just £30 altogether.
See if your lock has a makers mark on and try contacting them, you may have to take it to them, not sure if they would deal with the public but cant see why not.
