hardship case (they say no)

hi
hope somebody can help, ive just had my financial hardship case with the ombudsman and they have said i cant claim because my charges acured before i became unemployed so they hadnt contributed to my financial hardship.
what can i do now, my claim is being dealt with through a third party.
any help would be much appreciated.

The financial Ombudsman said that? That to me sounds like something a bank/building society would say. I think that could be Nationwide(am I right?).
Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?0 -
hiya my reclaim is against lloyds, it is a third party solicitors that are dealing with my claim, as im unemployed my interest is being payed for by the social some of my debts are on minimum payments such as utilities, i havnt hade any charges sinse i became unemployed as i canceled most of my direct debits so i didnt get any more charges, basically what i wanted to know was is there any way i either cancel the agreement with the third party or is there another route i can ask him to take0
