Do i need to send wage slips when I claim childcare costs?

I am waiting for the forms to claim childcare costs and was just wondering do i need to send proof or income/hours such as a wage slip? Thanks

    WHat from TAx credits?
    I always just phoned them to inform them of childcare costs.

    no they send forms and ask for a PAYE number. I just wondering if i need to send wage slips as proof of income?

    No, all they need is the PAYE reference.
