    Positive news?

    How so?

When the sentence starts with the desperation of "a slim majority" you know your in for some !!!!!!.

What on earth is a slim majority. A majority thats not actually a majority? Or the group that won't let the fatties in?

Explain to me please. Cus I aint taking any notice of an article where the first words are a little desperate.

I think this is a fair point, however, a lot of people are being realistic, 'positive news' that's being pedaled in the media rarely has much substance behind it, it's just rhetoric trying to change sentiment, people just want the truth. Lets look at the property figures, any +ve growth is splashed all over the headlines, 'breaking news', etc.., yet when the figures are -ve, you'd be hard pushed to know unless you came here or HPC.

What we have is VI's in rising property in the media far outweigh the people who don't, there is no balance, it's just a bunch of people desperate to change their debt into wealth by selling the debt they have to the younger generation, to keep the ponzi scheme running.

It's like everywhere you look in the media it's ' now is a good time to buy ' etc.... since when was it a good time to buy a house in the middle of the worst recession we have ever had, whose effects have yet to be felt, it's just sickening spin by people who want to relieve themselves of the albatross around their neck, at someone elses expense.

    is this more positive Graham?
The global recession may be past its worst after central bank and government policies helped shore up investor sentiment, the Bank for International Settlements said.
U.S. payrolls shrank less than forecast in May, the Labor Department said June 5, reinforcing signs that the deepest recession in half a century is starting to ease. German business confidence has risen for two months after touching a 26-year low in March.
