Yes it's a renewal. I've done several posts about it LOL:rotfl: - your post was not out of line though - it could have been useful and it's nice to know people are reading these and thinking and helping. This forum is an amazing place and it's really helping me to be able to come and sound off on here :T

Was that a renewal or a new application ? Did you need reports from hospital or something ? That is a terribly long time. I couldnt cope for that amount of time !! :(
  • I'm still waiting since beg of March. Have rang and they said its now with a body of people that evaluate a sample group of forms. Hopefully that means it good news. My GP is backing me as I'm in real need of larger car due to not being able to walk and cant lift out parts of my scooter any more so need a lift fitted.
Hope you dont have to wait too long

I have just had my reply today and was turned down. But it only took 6 weeks even though the letter said it would take 8. So be patient it will arive.
I used to be me !! what happened
  • I had a letter sent on the 8th May saying they had received the DLA renewal forms and would look at the claim, got a letter back today saying that we will get the same DLA as before and now until 2015, so only took a month or so for us, guess it depends on the claim!
