Renting a house for wedding reception?...

Hi Girls,
I wondered if anyone knew of a website (if one even exists!) for people who hire their homes out for wedding receptions? I know that people do this as I have catered at one or two recently but obviously I thought that they loaned them out to people they already knew but someone at work suggested that there maybe some sort of website directory? Have any of you heard of such a thing?
I live in South West England and having a mare trying to find a venue that A: I like and B: allow live music in the evening. The one I really want has quoted £15k for exclusive use which I was actually going to go for but suddenly realised how extravegant that would be for a party for 1 day with 64 people who dont bother with me or my fiance that often! All suggestions would be greatfully recieved, Im feeling slightly disheartened to say the least!

Brad every post of yours so far has been advertising that website. i think you should read the site rules as I think you are probably breaking them.

Who is Brad? Sorry- not sure what the last two messages are about but I genuinely wanted some feedback on a venue I have arranged to view today! Bizarre!

Brad has probably had his postings removed because he was posting spam.

I will have a look through some of my stuff (I have lots) as I recall being sent a brochure from a manor house that can be hired for wedding receptions on an exclusive use basis. As soon as I find it I will post here.

I have found it but it is a bit far away: https://www.countrypad.co.uk Felin Newydd House close to Hay on Wye.

If you look up holiday cottages companies you can get a farmhouse, cottage, country house or castle for anything from a weekend to a week or more.
