I am looking to buy a sub-£1000 old car. Any recommendations for a used car dealer in North London ? Have shortlisted a few from autotrader.co.uk.
Also, any other tips will be greatly appreciated. Considering my budget, I have fairly modest expectations.

At that level I would buy privately, and take a knowledgable friend with you.
A dealer markup will take up a large part of that price
