Barclays offer/paid

Am hoping that someone can give me some advice.

Made a claim for bank charges to Barclays bank and declared hardship. The total claim was for £2945.00.

They have paid straight into the bank account £2062.50, which is £882.50 less then i was asking for.

Do i accept this amount or do i go back and ask for the whole amount to be paid?

Any advice would be much appericated.

Sadie

Sadie, no bank can make a full and final settlement on bank charges cases so the amount is not a full and final settlement. The rest can be claimed on the conclusion of the OFT test case.

so when it is resolved i can then send the claim in for the rest, or will it be automatically sorted out?

I gotta say, I wish I knew the answer to that question, ie what happens to claims already in the system. I suspect that they will automatically be paid out. I think you need to keep looking at the site from time to time for updates.
