Cast Iron Bath Leak

Hello everyone
I have a bit of a problem, I had a bath last night in my tub & everything seemed fine unti I woke up in the morning & found a leak under my bath, it has leaked all over the floor & into my kitchen below.
I have managed to block the leak up until I can seal it. However there seems to be a slight buzzing noise around the bath. I thought it was the toilet system after I ha dflushed it. Any ideas?

Hi
Water in electrics? Turn off the main switch at the fuse board see if the noise stops.

Thanks, however the sound is more like water pressure possibly?
The bath is earthed with it being cast iron! Does that help?
If it is water in electrics is that serious?0 -

HI
Only if you get electrocuted.Might be worth a punt (turning off electrics) just to rule it out
wouldn't you think?

If the light fitting for your kitchen is below the bath it could well be in the electrics, it does make a slight buzzing sound. I'd be trying it just to see.0

Thanks for your comments
The drip in the kitchen is quite away from the light fitting.
I will try & switch the elec off & report back0
