Delivery Manager not working

Nearly every time I switch on my laptop I get a little window opening saying 'Delivery Manager not working', I close it and it doesn't seem to affect anything. Does anybody know what it is?

uninstall it reboot then install it again as I think the issue s with the digital rights manager, you didn't delete the drm folder under windows media by any chance?

Delivery Manager is the Kontiki peer to peer software that the BBC used for Iplayer downloads.

They've now switched to BBC Desktop iplayer which doesn't use this technology, and in fact uninstalls it (unless you're using Channel 4 download which aslo uses it, and I think Sky does as well). They introduced thie new one a few weeks ago, and when you try to download something you have to install the new one.
  • As the above post stated, just get rid of it by installing the iPlayer desktop, or if you don't watch anything through it anyway, which it seems like you don't (Since it hasn't worked in over a month!) just uninstall it through the control panel.
