Ways to make extra cash!

Hello Loppy Laura
I work at weekends (which means I work 7 days a week) and my take home pay every money ranges from £400 to £480. I learnt last week that I might be getting a pay rise to £8.12! So this money I get from the weekend, will play a major part in me clearing my debt. I will carry on working 7 days a week till everything is cleared. Years of speanding like a millionaire has resulted in me working like a donkey. However I am prepared to do this as it long term it is worth with, if I can live debt free and have the life I was meant to be!
You might look into working in your local supermarket - think of the food discount!

Beforw I got my weekend job, I considered doing some cleaning/ironing work. Also as I have some skills like Sage bookeeping, PR, Organising events etc, you can also market those to potential people.0

I have also saved some money and invested in shares that have gone from £1.80 to just over £3 each over the last two years, but that is obviously a long term thing.

I live in a village and have got an extra job as a Parish Council Clerk - you really just need to be literate and numerate, and have access to a computer. Work at the moment is about 15 hours a month and gets paid at £7.60 ish an hour. Also get petrol at 56p a mile!! :rotfl: I know some clerks work for several parishes, and bigger parishes need more work than mine. The job was advertised in a local mag.0

As well as local pubs / avon / ann summers, how about becoming a steward at your local football club. The pay isn't always brilliant (dependant on each club) its matchdays only. Alternatively, how about turnstiles or selling programmes.

I have been to a few Ann Summers parties and a few have been quite unsuccessful - not many turning up, or people cancelling their huge orders the next morning when sober. -But I had an Ann Summers party last year and everyone turned up and we had to be shoehorned into the lounge. Over £550 worth of gear was sold through the catalogue, the rep also did a raffle £2 for 3 tickets where you could win some novelty items (£1-£3 cost per prize), she also sold off some of her old stock so she made a packet out of me and my friends. i think if you go out expecting to make £20 anything above this is a huge bonus, and you should have quite a laugh doing it.
If not around my area, there is Kleeneze, Bettawear, Avon, Phoenix cards, Usbourne books, A candle party thing, and Herballife, and these all seem to do quite well. There is also surveys online, and mystery shopping. So take your pick, there is money just waiting for you whatever direction you go in. Good luck and let us know how you get on
