Abbey Account Interest

Wonder if anything anyone can help me. I set up two accounts with Abbey a few months back, both 5% in-credit ones- one with a Visa Debit- my main account, the other an electron one which I use for flights etc, if they charge £10 for other cards.
The Visa debit one I have no problems but the electron one in the first month- I got interest - not a lot just a few pence, but the last few months I've not received any interest at all.
I keep a small balance- typically £50 in the account, which I use fairly regularly, and transfer some money in every week to keep it topped up- but don't meet the £1K pay in amount for the high 5% interest rate, but I was of the understanding it should default to give me the low 0.1% or something interest rate as it did in the first month. Whilst it is a few pence every month, it's annoying me that it is not getting paid- anybody got any suggestions.

An average £50 balance will generate 4p interest per year after tax at 0.1% gross.0

Ahh, bit too low to scrape any interest. Got 2p on the first month right enough-which confused me!:rotfl:0
